Anthony Gregory Perez has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a two-car collision that occurred on August 17 in California City in the vicinity of Edwards Air Force Base. Mr. Perez, a 19-year-old Bakersfield resident, was involved in a two-car accident that happened at roughly 3:45 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 58 and California City Boulevard. One of the cars allegedly ran through a stop sign. Young Mr. Perez tragically died at the scene. Whether or not the other driver was injured has not been made clear.
