Andrew Ramirez has been identified by authorities as the victim in a Cathedral City motorcycle collision that occurred on December 15. Mr. Ramirez was riding a motorcycle on Ocean Boulevard on East Palm Canyon Drive shortly prior to 6:00 p.m. when it crashed with another vehicle, an SUV, that was leaving a convenience store parking lot. The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old Desert Hot Springs resident, perished from his injuries at the site of the accident. Authorities say that the SUV driver remained at the scene, but the cause of the collision is currently unknown and they are investigating the incident.
