Adrian Albert has been identified by authorities as the victim in a bicycle collision that occurred on June 5 in Sonoma County. Mr. Albert, a 35-year-old Kensington resident, was riding a bicycle heading eastward on Highway 12 in the vicinity of Madrone Road at about 8:20 p.m. The man was apparently struck from behind by a vehicle described as a Dodge Dakota. Despite reportedly wearing a helmet, Mr. Albert died as a result of the collision. Meanwhile the driver of the car allegedly fled the scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the apparent crime and seeking out witnesses.
