Aaron Asher Vickers, 38, has been identified by authorities as one of two dead in a tragic pedestrian accident that occurred on July 4 in Mission Valley. Mr. Vickers was one of three homeless individuals who were sleeping near the intersection of Metropolitan Drive and Murray Canyon Road after 11:00 a.m.  in back of a bus stop. A vehicle described as a black Hyundai Tuscon went off the road, striking the bus stop and then three victims before finally crashing into a tree. Mr. Vickers died at the scene. Another male, aged 40, were both seriously injured. The man at Sharp Memorial Hospital not long after. The driver of the Hyundai SUV stopped and called for help. The tragic incident is being investigated by authorities.
